Join me for a morning of dyeing with California native plants outdoors at the lovely Muddy Heaven farm in Highland Park! (Address and further details will be emailed to class participants.)

In this class, you’ll learn the process of creating natural dyes from raw plant materials, tips for identifying the plants around you with dye potential, my advice for foraging ethically & sustainably, and the knowledge & instructions to replicate the process at home.

We’ll be creating color with plants grown on the grounds of Hahamongna Native Plants Nursery, and you’ll get to make your own resist-dyed bandana with the native dye(s) of your choice!

This class is suitable for beginners & dyers of all experience levels, ages 12+.
