Join Erin of Berbo Studio and Kylie of Kitchen Sink for a colorful and delicious end of summer celebration! We’ll spend the afternoon enjoying seasonal snacks and (booze-optional) drinks made with ingredients fresh from the farm at Muddy Heaven while working on a unique natural dye project with two key summer-friendly ingredients: plant matter and ice!

Under the shade of the big sapote tree at the farm, Erin will guide you in creating your own pair of vividly colored bamboo socks using a no-heat ice dyeing technique. The full rainbow of natural color will be at your fingertips – red & orange from madder root, yellow from marigold, green from chlorophyll, and blue & purple from logwood.

While the ice melts, infusing our soft bamboo socks with vibrant watercolor-like patterns, we’ll gather on the rooftop deck to enjoy seasonal drinks and food made by Kylie, including herbal infused cocktails and light food fare!

On the end-of-summer menu is an elderberry shrub (a cocktail made with elderberry juice, citrus, farm fresh herbs, and optional gin and bitters), chocolate pudding or crème brûlée with fresh sapote, and bread freshly baked by Kylie and finished with fig balsamic, farm herbs, and goat cheese (vegan option available).
