Come dabble with blue magic at Painting with Indigo, an evening workshop at Plant Material in Altadena. 🌚

We’ll create a deep blue paint with pure indigo and a couple of simple, natural ingredients. Participants will get their own 4oz container of hand-mixed indigo pigment to keep—plenty to paint a provided set of four 17”x17” cotton napkins (and then some).

Simple block printing, stenciling and other painting/printing techniques will be shared, intended to be accessible to all levels of experience/creativity. All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own stencils, stamps, or other relevant painting supplies.

You’re encouraged to bring your own wine, snacks, and other enjoyables to this after hours evening event (think: plant color meets paint and sip)!
