Dyed exclusively with plants grown from seed in my dye garden—sulphur cosmos and dyer’s coreopsis, marigold and pericón—and named for the mountains which rim this valley like a protective nest. When the sun sets on the mountains, their pinkish sandstone lights up like glowing terracotta—the color which inspired this dyed collection.
